Idk why folks are so insistent on Peter being Miles’ Spider-dad. Firstable, Miles already has a dad who loves him very much but also, we all saw the same movie, Peter Parker is no dad. He’s that one incomprehensibly strange and kinda anti-social family friend who’s close enough to your mom and dad that you call him uncle but you’ve always wondered how in the world he’s such a good friend of your parents when he’s like… that. Like, where did they find this guy? Why does he regularly ask you for $2.37 exactly? Why is his beard only ever partially groomed? Are those sweatpants a biological part of him? Why does he smell like that? Not that he smells bad or anything but you know those people that just have a smell? He’s one of them. Then he finds out you two have one (1) whole thing in common and suddenly he’s trying to teach you all this cool shit but also acting super tsundere about it like he hasn’t always wanted to take someone under his bizarre wing.
You know the trope of the enthusiastic and extravagant aunt who loves to spoil you? Peter is the exact opposite of that. He’s a paragon of Weird Uncle Energy.
He’s the guy your parents accidentally adopted in college when they were TAs and he was a fresher they were worried he was going to die from malnutrition, but once they fed him he kept coming back so the just had to keep him. Out of embarrassment they never tell you this, but they firmly enforce the “no feeding strays” rule

I had a dream I was able to time travel and I went like 10,20,100,1000,2000 years into the future but the instant I went to 4,000 I got stuck in a time dilation jail set up by the American government in the year 3,877 in which anyone that tried to time travel back or forth across May 23, 3877 while on Earth would end up stuck in this time dilation chamber trap to stop time travelers but like it was so crazy and mismanaged because it was legit capturing like every single time traveler ever and the place had only been open for 12 minutes and was already getting overpopulated with nonstop multiple recursive instances of this one other guy trying to break previous versions of himself out of this god damn time traveler jail

My art teacher in grade 8 had ADHD and was Bipolar on top of that and on the first day of class the first thing he told us was that sometimes he would yell at us without really meaning to. And he told us that if it ever happened to call him out because his mental illness didn’t give him the excuse to treat us like shit.
Mental health issues (as well as some other disabilities) EXPLAIN your behavior, but it doesn’t EXCUSE your behavior.
